Banana Bud Salad

1 viss = 3.6 pounds = 100 ticals
27.7 ticals = 1 pound, 1 tical = .57 ounces


Ingredients
  1. Banana bud (Rakhine banana) 1
  2. Onions 4
  3. Oil 2 ticals
  4. Cloves garlic 2
  5. Large table spoons dried shrimp 3
  6. Large table spoons grilled gram flour 2
  7. Fish/lobster sauce some
  8. Lime some
  9. Dried chili powder some

Preparation
  1. Take out the rought parts of the banana bud.
  2. Cut the young parts thinly and soak in water to get the bitterness out. Then drain the water thoroughly.
  3. Cut onions thinly.
  4. Fry some onions in small amount of oil until golden brown.
  5. Mix the cut up banana buds, onions, cut garlic, dried shrimp, fish sauce and grilled gram flour. Squeeze some fresh lime over the salad. Add dried chili if desired.
