Drumstick
vegetable
Dant-da-lun: Horseraddish
tree. Moringa oleifera :
This long, rigid pod grows on a tree rather than a vine. Both pods
and leaves are relished. The only portion consumed is the soft, almost
jelly-like interior in which the seeds are embedded. The seeds, too,
are nice to eat, but a drumstick is never to eat the outer skin.
