Custard Apple

Custard Apples have a soft sweet pulp covered under a rough green skin.  The fruit's name can be attributed to an Englishman who once remarked that the fruit's distinct flavor reminded him of the taste of custard.  Although custard apples first originated in South America, they thrive in the tropical regions of Asia and have gained tremendous popularity wherever they are grown.
