Gyi House- A new Myanmar crafts shop owned by a foreigner…
The
opening of Zaw Gyi House was held on September 7th by
the owner, Mr. Francois Kenedi. It is located near the
FMI Center, Bogyoke Aung San Street. Decorated with wall
paintings, this crafts shop sells lacquare ware, silk,
etc. An item sold at the shop is a “Yan Aung’
pasoe, men’s sarong, named after the silk sarong
design worn by actor/singer Yan Aung.
